    A Song of the Sidhe
The song is called "Dia Luain, Dia Mairt" which is Gaelic for Monday, Tuesday. In the song, Donal the hunchback, hears the beautiful voice of a fairy singing the same phrase over and over. When he finishes the phrase for her, she removes his hunchback. I just took the idea a couple of steps further...

Lusty Donal Bawn had both skill in love and beauty in song. But his overweening pride bought the enmity of the god Ogma, and he was cursed:

A hunchback you shall be, with no virility. Your voice, thin as a reed that naught shall heed. Only in the forests wild or the mountains high, where man or woman seldom draw nigh, shall you regain your nature true, though little good ’twill do you. Fleeting shall those moments be, until one loves you, no matter what she'll see.

Lovely Ceoleen of the Sidhe was born to be a bard. But her vanity and her pride brought the wrath of the Council on her, and she, too, was cursed:

All you may utter is one short phrase to give you solace the long, lonely days. Whosoever finishes this song for ye, your rightful spouse he shall be. The very last sight you shall see is your beautiful face, little comfort though it be. Until you can see and hear with your heart, this mallacht from you will never depart. All here within the hall mark this day and what I say.

Chance brought them together in their forest homes, and together they satisfied their lust, but only their love could finish The Song of the Sidhe.

"My poor darling, can you forgive me?" He bent his head burying it in her cupped hand.

Ceoleen's hand quivered as she caressed his thick hair.

"Oh, fioghra, my true love, 'tis no reason to weep. 'Twas only a little hurt. Truth be told, I liked it. All of it." She licked her lips. "In fact, I want more." She drew him to her breasts. "A great deal more."

He leaned into her, and she sank onto the grassy mound. Pulling away, he found the torn scarf and tied her once more with a shortened length to the whitebeam tree.

He straddled her body, bringing his cock to the apex of her thighs. Spreading her open for his entry, he delved among the curls there. She was ready for him. Hot, slick, her channel wide enough to take his thickness, deep enough to take him all in. His penis hardened. He took his slick fingers and brought them to her lips.

"Taste yourself, a mhuirnin dilis, my sweet little love. And 'tis sweet you are. Like honey. Taste and see for yourself."

Obediently, she sucked on the fingers he pressed to her mouth. Salty and musky, hardly like honey to her. Maybe to him? But arousing, yes. Like some sort of love potion it stirred her senses. Her nipples tightened and she moaned.

Donal closed his eyes as the beautiful sidhe suckled. He'd never seen a more erotic sight than her lush lips licking his fingers. No, her lips on his prick would be even more erotic. No, his cock sinking into her cunt would be more erotic yet. He shook his head. No more time to waste. Now.

He lifted her bottom onto his thighs and plunged in. His fingers gripped her slim hips as he plundered her of every last drop of cream. His seed spilled into her woman's core, filling it.

As his cock grew limp, he slipped away from her. Swiftly he untied her hands and brought her into his arms, raining kisses on her face.

"You’ve made me lovesick, a ghra."

This was a wonderful story. The sex scenes were delicious, but what truly made the story for me was watching love conquer all. At the beginning of this story I thought these two conceited people got what they deserved. But as the story unfolded I fell in love with Donal and Ceoleen. Their struggle to find true love and hang on to it, with so much against them was so touching. This was a great read, especially if you enjoy a lot of steamy, hot sex and a great love story to go along with it. .

The Song of the Sidhe by Jeanne Barrack is an amazing and richly-woven tale of pride, passion, and the pettiness of the gods. This is a story of the power of love and of seeing with the eyes of the heart. Ms. Barrack expertly brings readers to a fever pitch with this passionate chronicle of two lovers learning themselves and overcoming their faults. The characters are lively and struck a chord with this reader, while the settings, from green forest glade to the shining courts of the fey, are lush and breathtaking. I was absolutely enthralled from the beginning to the end of A Song of the Sidhe. Magic, love and adventure wound together in a beautiful fantasy world which held me so fascinated that there was no putting this book down for me. If you like a book full of hot sex, and lots of it, the soft-core bondage combined with a silky seduction of your senses is guaranteed to keep your breath short and your panties wet. I loved watching Ceoleen and Donal go from vain arrogant people, with little care for others feelings, to kind considerate people who only wanted to make each other happy. The journey was not easy for either of them as they had reasonable fears concerning trust to work through and a lesson to teach each other about judging people with your heart and not your eyes or ears. With a bad guy you love to loathe and a couple so sympathetic your heart will hurt for them A Song of the Sidhe is a real winner to me and I will watch for more of Ms. Barrack's books in the future.

This is a steamy, enchanting tale. Ms. Barrack has spun a wonderful tale with fairies, goddesses, and spells. Taking bits of lore and weaving them with beautiful characters and a twisted plot, it starts taking shape. Then add the spells, betrayals, and erotic romance and the tapestry comes together as a fantastic piece of work. I love these fantasy romances and this one is going on my keeper shelf.

In many ways, A Song of the Sidhe is a story not only of love but also a story of looking beyond physical appearances to see the person underneath. Donal was afraid of what Ceoleen would think if she truly saw him while Ceoleen still craved acceptance and could not trust as yet. Another beautiful, emotional story, A Song of the Sidhe, proves once again that Jeanne Barrack is a master story teller.

This is an erotic romance lover’s dream. Page after page Jeanne Barrack has created a world many will not want to leave. The characters are all alive and vibrant. Ceoleen and Donal’s lovemaking is so well detailed you find yourself drawn into the scenes and not wanting them to end. I found my self reading some passages twice because I enjoyed them so much. I am sure you will all feel the same way! ...the characters are well thought out and I often found myself holding my breath in anticipation for the next move. A Song of the Sidhe is a hot, erotic fantasy and I wait impatiently for Ms. Barrack’s next book.

"A Song of the Sidhe is truly a great story. Jeanne Barrack has done a wonderful job telling the story of these two people who ultimately become each others true loves. The story expresses that beauty comes from the inside. Just because you may happen to be a handsome man or a stunningly beautiful woman, that doesn’t mean you have to put down others. Jeanne does a great job with this heart-warming story that I recommend to everyone."
